Have you been wanting to learn to quilt or maybe wanted a refresher of your quilting skills? Then this is the class for you! During the 6 classes, students learn rotary cutting, how to follow a pattern, block construction, quilt assembly and how to attach borders. During the class, students will also learn simple quilting and bind a sample to keep and use as a reference for future projects. Learn how to navigate corners for a nice square quilt and how to expertly hand stitch a binding.

On another sample, students will practice sewing a 2 color machine sewn binding and learn how to join the binding ends on a quilt. In the final class, students will stitch their binding onto the beautiful quilt they have made.

The pattern we will be using is Tranquility. All students will make the throw size quilt that finishes at approx. 51.5” x 71.5”.
